Cookie Policy

The short version: we use no advertising or tracking cookies, and our analytics is cookieless.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website can store on your device. Related technologies, such as a browser’s local storage, work in a similar way. UK law treats them together and that is how we describe them here.

What we use

We have deliberately kept this site light. We do not use any advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies.

  • Strictly necessary storage. When you make a choice on our cookie banner, we save that choice in your browser’s local storage so we do not ask again. This sets no cookie, is not shared with anyone, and is needed to respect your preference.
  • Analytics (optional, cookieless). If you opt in, we load Vercel Analytics. It measures aggregated page views without cookies, without identifying you and without tracking you across other sites. If you decline, it is never loaded.

Our host may also set strictly necessary cookies needed to deliver the site securely. These do not track you and, under UK rules, do not require consent.

Your choice

Because our analytics is cookieless, the law does not strictly require a consent banner. We show one anyway so the decision is yours. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings, which will bring the banner back.

You can also block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser. The site will continue to work normally if you do.
