Websites for landscapers
Websites for landscapers and grounds teams.
Grounds work is sold on trust and photographs, and most sites in the trade have neither. A phone number and a stock photo of a lawn is not a pitch. Show the jobs you have actually done, name the kind of client you want, and the enquiries change.
What we have learned
What actually wins the work
Photographs do the selling
Nobody buys grounds maintenance from a paragraph. We build galleries that stay fast on a phone and put your own before and after work exactly where the stock photos usually sit.
Contracts, not one-off mows
Schools, care homes and managing agents are buying reliability, insurance and a team that turns up in February. That is a different pitch to a domestic lawn cut, and the site should make obvious which one you are after.
Enquiries arrive in waves
Your year is not flat. Spring and autumn do the heavy lifting, so the pages that answer what people search for in those weeks earn more than anything else on the site.
The checklist
What your site needs
Steal this. If your current site does all six you probably do not need us, and we will happily tell you so.
Get a fixed price- A gallery of your own work, not stock photography
- The kind of client you want, said plainly
- Insurance, accreditations and DBS checks where they apply
- The areas and postcodes you cover
- A quote form that asks the questions you would ask on the phone
- A page for each service you want more of, not one long list
Common questions
- We mostly work from word of mouth. Do we even need a site?
- Word of mouth still ends on Google. Someone is given your name, looks you up and decides whether you are a real outfit before they ring. The site is not there to replace the recommendation, it is there to survive the check that follows it.
- We do domestic and commercial. Should that be one site?
- One site, but not one page. The two audiences want different things, so we usually split them early and let each have its own pitch, proof and enquiry route.
- Can you use our own photos?
- Yes, and we would rather you sent us mediocre phone photos of real jobs than anything from a stock library. We will tell you which shots are missing and what to take next time you are on site.
